New Zealand represents half the world

The American Craft Council has just finished its Creating a New Craft Culture, which included 'over 315 attendees from cities throughout the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, Scotland, and England.'

Two questions. First, is craft an Anglo thing? Second, which New Zealander represented our half of the world?
